More Information:
A light colored cup of tea with a medium body that’s smooth and aromatic. Green Dragon Chinese oolong is considered a “green" oolong or Pouchong tea because it is less oxidized (about 20%).
The dried, almost pellet like green leaves begin to unfurl revealing an exquisite, pale yellow liquor with a natural floral undertone and a sweet subtle yet crisp finish.
Origin: China
Ingredients: Oolong tea
Steeping Guidelines:
Water: Bring water to just under a boil 185° - 195°F
Use 1 heaping Tsp per 6 ounce cup
For iced tea, add one level tablespoon. | Infusion Time: 2 - 5 minutes
Infusion tips:
Use COLD filtered or spring water, whenever possible
Don’t over boil water, Don't over steep tea
Remove leaves after recommended time (adjust to taste)
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 3 minutes does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness. If you want a stronger taste, use more tea leaves instead of steeping for a longer time
