This Pai Mu Tan is grown in the Thirunelveli District of S. India on the Organic & Fair Trade Certified Oothu Estate.
This superb white tea is made from the uppermost two leaves and a bud, plucked in early spring and withered and dried in the sun before the buds are able to open. A delicate lingering fragrance and a mellow sweetly vegetal taste. Try some with white crystal sugar.

Steeping Instructions:
Water: 175° - 185°F | Use 2 - 3 teaspoons | Infusion Time: Up to 1 minute for first steep,
3-5 minutes for the subsequent steeps, refresh cup as desired
Infusion Tips:
Use COLD filtered or spring water, whenever possible
Don’t over boil water, Don't over steep tea
Remove leaves after recommended time (adjust to taste)
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond recommended time does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness. If you want a stronger taste, use more tea leaves instead of steeping for a longer time
