Silver Needle is among the most revered of Chinese teas, produced in the Fuding and Zhenhe districts of its Fujian province. This rare tea from Fujian Province is made solely of plump, downy buds. Said to be picked only two days of each year, it presents a sweet, light fragrance with a subtle fruity flavor & nuances.
This very special tea deserves a careful preparation. We suggest you brew it in a guywan or in a Yixing teapot dedicated exclusively to Silver Needle tea.

Steeping Guidelines:
Water: 175° - 185°F | Use 2 - 3 teaspoons | Infusion Time: Up to 1 minute for first steep,
3-5 minutes for the subsequent steeps, refresh cup as desired
ICED TEA | Use 6 Tsp per 18 ounces | Infusion Time: 2 - 3 minutes | Fill pitcher 2/3 with ice
Infusion Tips:
Use COLD filtered or spring water, whenever possible
Don’t over boil water, Don't over steep tea
Remove leaves after recommended time (adjust to taste)
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond recommended 3 minutes does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness. If you want a stronger taste, use more tea leaves instead of steeping for a longer time
