More Information:
Contrary to other teas, Pu'erh (pronounced 'poo-err') is aged. The tea leaves go through a natural fermentation process before being gently dried, thus creating a cup with zero astringency and deep, rich body. Our USDA Certified Organic leaf Pu'erh tea is extraordinarily smooth and deeply refreshing.
Due it's medicinal properties it is often used as an digestive aid and natural detoxifier. It is great for multiple infusions.
Ingredients: Organic Chinese Pu'erh Leaf tea
Origin: Yunnan, China
Steeping Guidelines:
Water: cold water to boil - 203° - 212°F | Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 6 ounce cup | Infusion Time: 3 - 5 minutes
Infusion tips:
Use COLD filtered or spring water, whenever possible
Don’t over boil water, Don't over steep tea
Remove leaves after recommended time (adjust to taste)
*Vary time according to taste, & remember that steeping tea leaves beyond 6 minutes does not contribute to flavor, only bitterness. If you want a stronger taste, use more tea leaves instead of steeping for a longer time
