Sapporo Tetsubin (pronounced "tet-SUE-bin") Japanese cast iron teapot. Cast iron teapots are the best way to brew tea, since the cast iron distributes the heat evenly inside the pot to better extract the flavors and benefits of the tea. 

The teapot is handmade according to the exacting specifications of a Japanese Tea Master. Through a special treatment processes the impurities are removed from the cast iron.  A coating of misty black enamel is then applied to help prevent the development of rust.

Cast Iron teapots will keep your tea hot for close to an hour.
